Culture is not a dropdown
The database becomes simpler. The person does not.

These responses improve S2W’s visual language across this project and approved S2W API surfaces. No visual is replaced or published automatically.
A dropdown needs clean edges. Culture survives by ignoring them.
When an interface asks a person to choose one language, one region, one identity or one ‘type’, the person does not become simpler. The database does.
Sometimes the most honest field in a form is: ‘This answer changes depending on where I am.’
Margin note
Interfaces reveal what a system can afford to understand.
